Hi All,

My Diagnosis is mood disorder NOS, with delusions, anxiety and paranoia. My second major episode was in 2008, and I was diagnosed by a Psychiatrist and started meds (Atypical Antipsychotics) in early 2009. My symptoms are in complete remission, and have been for several years now. However, I have also always had an underlying depression which affected my internal thought processes throughout my entire life. I have started Bupropion, an atypical antidepressant, and not only do I feel great but it also counters some of the side effects I was experiencing on the AAP's.

I just wanted to say that I feel awesome and I don't feel a constant internal pressure to improve myself or dissatisfaction with life. I guess some might say I am just patching the problems I have but I think the contrary. This drug helps me focus on what is important and weed out what isn't. I'm no longer dwelling on past events or 'woe is me' ideation. I have no desire to focus on negativity, and my motivation and productivity are at levels I never achieved in my 40 years of life on this planet. Now I don't feel like a superman but I feel like a huge grey cloud has been above my head for all of my life and it has been dispersed. This allows me to get things done without the needless worry and negative emotions that shackled me and weighed me down most of my life. My situation is darned good and I always knew it but still was plagued by these feelings which were unwarranted and counterproductive. I hope this is the new status quo because going back to old me is just too damn difficult.
