Take it as directed by your doctor, most TCAs are taken at night before bed but like I said talk to your doctor because if you’re taking up for depression you sometimes take it up to three times a day

i took both forms (generic imipramine, the brand name tofranil-pm) at bedtime. dry mouth, a bit of weight gain. less apathy than cymbalta. probably not the best thing for years and years of treatment, but then again...what is?

hi. id personally dose at night, unless you have to work at night or something. one thing i did like about the patented, still expen$ive Tofranil-PM was that it seemed to get the job done a bit better than the old school generic, plus its just one capsule, at night.
some tca drugs are dosed throughout the day. elavil and the elavil combo pills (limbitrol, triavil) are often taken daytime. I have no idea how anyone tolerates that stuff, but...yeah. |
