Is anyone taking both Topamax and Metformin? What are your dosages and are there any extra precautions to take when combining them?

I am. 25 mg topamax (I'm really sensitive to it) and 500 mg metformin (my doctor doesn't want my blood sugar any lower). Topamax I take for sleep, not for weight as it doesn't do anything at that dose) but I've had no interactions or issue taking both.

I am on Metformin and it seems to stop cravings I would have had with seroquel.

I can also feel it taking the sugar out of my liver before it can be turned into fat.

I think it helps prevent any new weight gain from any APs or Anti depressant.

But I am also on a low carb - high protein diet with Nutri-system in combination with the Metformin and I have lost almost 20lbs.
