How do you find Rexulti and Vraylar compare to other medications out there?
Are there any other newer antipsychotics that I don’t know about? I’m on Seroquel and taken quite a few different ones and looking for something that doesn’t have weight gain but also doesn’t make me feel “weird”, which seems I can have one or the other but not both.

hi. they're very new. my best guess would be that since they're similar to Abilify, you could look at long term data for that for a guess-timate of what you're working with.

I think the jury is still out on those. They are both very new.

I have taken both. Currently, I am taking Vraylar. Both were weight neutral for me, and Vraylar seems to be better for my cognitive function.

Yeah they are pretty new was being hopeful. I’m trying Rexulti atm. Only about two weeks so far on 1mg. Which isn’t enough to go by atm. Guess I’ll have to wait and see.
I have taken Abilfy before but about 12 years ago so I can’t remember.

I’m trialling Rexulti atm. How would you say the side effects compare to other antipsychotics (if you have tried others). Vraylar on reviews seemed to get a higher rating than others but there was only so few reviews, and I guess everyone is affected differently.

Vraylar has been the only antipsychotic that has helped me. So far no side effects either.

Rexulti gave me a bad side effect of feeling extremely angry, like I wanted to hurt someone. It also didn't help with hallucinations and such.

That’s no good. Glad to hear Vraylar has helped you. It seems people have success with this one.
Rexulti made me feel tense so I stopped taking it for now.
