I started Lexapro Wednesday morning and the drowsiness is killer. I swear the only reason I don't have any anxiety is because my body couldn't muster enough energy to do so with this drowsiness. Hopefully this passes. I did switch to taking it at night so I could better function during the day...that seems to be helpful. Yikes! I forgot how difficult medication starting can be. This is the first real trial since I quit 2+ years ago. I know it is a side effect so I am sure that is what this is.

My doctor prescribed it to take at bedtime to help with sleep. So, yes it has drowsiness but it goes away. I had to go off it, though, because it made my OCD worse.
