I tried to call in my lithium before I moved back home from school, but apparently it never went through? Or they just never responded? So I got home and realized I was just about out of lithium and called again. But I may have mentioned the wrong medication. I was just diagnosed with a sinus infection and pumped full of medicine for that so my mental clarity hasn't been the best due to being sick and dealing with my emotional problems of school withdrawal. Now I realized I am completely out of lithium and my prescription order wasn't refilled. So I called AGAIN and this time made sure to say the right medication (in case I hadn't before, I'm not entirely sure what happened). And they said it could be 72 HRs before it's filled. And I have none. So what is the chances of me having some kind of psychiatric relapse from missing my medication for this short amount of time? Not that anyone here is a...psychiatrist, but maybe people who have had to miss several doses for whatever reason, can tell me what to expect.

I'm trying not to worry because at this point there is literally nothing I can do. My prescriber should have refilled it the first time I had the pharmacy contact him and made the request. I am seriously considering going to a different clinic because I am not happy with my service. This isn't the only thing that has happened that has tipped me off to being dissatisfied.

Most pharmacies will advance a few days of medication to tie you over until approval comes through. Talk directly to the pharmacist about the situation.

Thanks! I will do that. And also may have a conversation with my clinic about this. I called in last week and now it's Thursday.
