Whenever I try new antipsychotics I feel weird on them. Sometimes it’s because I end up with side effects like akathesia so it’s no wonder that I feel strange but other times I don’t know what the feeling is and I’m wondering if I need to stay on them longer to see if it works out but I usually feel I can’t. I’ve been trying other meds for years but the only one that makes me feel normal is Seroquel. I haven’t tried some meds due to possible weight gain which is what I’m trying to stay clear from. I don’t really know if I felt this way when I started taking Seroquel because I was coming off another one at the time.
Is this normal or not normal? What’s your experiences? Tia
