Without going into detail, I'll just say I have been on Effexor twice & I cannot not take it...

I take Effexor and it works well for me. Just proves everyone's different when it comes to meds.

it wasn't for me. antidepressants...seem to make things worse for me, over the long haul. I doubt I'm the only one, btw.

Effectors side effects getting on it were so severe j had to stop. Same thing with lexepro. SSRI and SNRIs have never worked for me I can’t get on them. Every persons chemistry is different. But I think if other SSRIs or SNRI’s have worked for you in the past than this might too. I had extreme anxiety but recently found it was linked to my bipolar and when I started in lithium it calmed down a lot!

Actually doesnt do much of anything for me but my doc insists I keep taking it for the time being. I went from 150 to 75mg now. I read it was stronger than most antidepress. but all it does is numb my emotions slightly.
i dont what my doctor is thinking. |
