Without going into detail, I'll just say I have been on Effexor twice & I cannot not take it...

I take Effexor and it works well for me. Just proves everyone's different when it comes to meds.

Effectors side effects getting on it were so severe j had to stop. Same thing with lexepro. SSRI and SNRIs have never worked for me I can’t get on them. Every persons chemistry is different. But I think if other SSRIs or SNRI’s have worked for you in the past than this might too. I had extreme anxiety but recently found it was linked to my bipolar and when I started in lithium it calmed down a lot!

Actually doesnt do much of anything for me but my doc insists I keep taking it for the time being. I went from 150 to 75mg now. I read it was stronger than most antidepress. but all it does is numb my emotions slightly.
i dont what my doctor is thinking.
