I’m on 600 mg of lithium and instead of raising it more I’m adding lamictal for its antidepressant action. Has any one taken this combo? How did it work for you? I’m titrations up on lamictal slowly. The symptoms I still have left on lithium 600 are fatigue, mild depression, brain fog (was there before the lithium), no motivation or energy.

Just want to hear some stories and experience about this combo from people who have tried it

Worked great for me for about a year then I went toxic on the lithium. The doctor reduced my dosage from 1200mg to 900mg with no issues. I recently got off of lithium due to the fact that I was slurring my speech. When I quit the lithium the slurring stopped. I have been on 200 mg of Lamictal the whole time with no issues that I know of. Hope this helps.
