Does anyone else on lamictal feel excruciatingly tired in the mornings? I'm on 350mg and I'm so extremely tired after a good 8 hours sleep that it's making it hard to do my job properly.

I take 200 and if you titrate right you really shouldn’t have that side effect though you’re in a much higher dose than me

How long have you been on that dose ?

Dose it actually make you sleepy after taking it ???? or is it a “ hangover” feeling.

I’ve been on 200 mg for years I never had a problem with Sleepiness although I take it once a day at bedtime So that might be why it doesn’t impact me, how many times a day do you take it? And when do you take it?

I take my lamictal before I go to bed (a bit earlier so that I'm tired by about 1030) and I also take luvox 150 mg at night.

I take Lamictal, cymbalta, buspar and latuda (at night geodon too). I do not know if this makes sense but when I took and SSRI with the lamictal I felt tired. Cymbalta is an SNRI and it doesnt make me tired to take both at the same time.

Drugs affect different people in different ways I hear of people getting tired of the Prozac when Prozac is a stimulant so everyone is different

While it’s not a stimulantPer say but it will raise your blood pressure and stimulate some things sometimes in a negative way and make it difficult to sleep for example are used to get tired around one or 2 o’clock and take a nap ever since Prozac I’ve been up at 6 AM and in bed at 11 PM so it is kind of stimulating but it’s not a stimulant as far as I drug to make you hyper but it will stimulate im a way

That's a really high dose. I wonder if that's what's making you tired and if you lowered the dose and maybe supplemented with another medication if that would help. Discuss with your psychiatrist.
