Has anyone heard of or read a study of Scopolamine being used as an Antidepressant? So far from what I read it works very well and is quick acting and has caused remission of depression. The information I read was from 2012 and was wondering if anyone heard about it and if there was any updates about it.

Thank you
Theresa

The only thing I know it's that one of the action mechanism of tricylic antidepressant is the same that scopolamine (muscarinic antagonist).

I have found this interesting review:
Antidepressant Effects of the Muscarinic Cholinergic Receptor Antagonist Scopolamine: A Review
