Has anyone used this anti-depressant? If so, what has your experience been while using it?

I asked the same question a while back. It seems not many people are using it. I am though. I have been for nearly a month . I started with 25mg for a week and now Im on 50mg, which is the highest dosage. To be honest, I haven't felt any better. There are times Ive felt worse. More aches, tiredness, and generally just worse. Im not sure if this is because of valdoxan.. but...it could be..
I also take effexor though and have been for 5 months. Im on 375mg... My pdoc did tell me that Valdoxan has proved to have helped enormously with depression. Maybe its just too soon to tell..with me that is. |

Valdoxan (agomelatine) is the first antidepressant that simultaneously acts as a MT1 and MT2 melatonergic receptors agonist and a 5-HT2C antagonist. As a result, Valdoxan® resynchronises circadian rhythms that are profoundly disrupted in depressed patients.
Articles I have read say that it has a very fast onset of action, has no sexual side effects and has no withdrawal. Please update your experiences
w/ Valdoxan (agomelatine). It is touted to be very effective.....but??? I was going to order some today h/e first i want to see how you guys are doing on it. Thank you all. maydaymayday I was going to order some for my TRD |
