I can't go off the Abilify because it's the only thing that's helped my depression, but I've gained thirty pounds on this med and I'm overweight and before meds I had a naturally high metabolism and had trouble gaining weight and yeah. Anyone have any tips besides exercise because I'm doing that and lowering my food intake and yeah nothing's working and my psychiatrist isn't concerned that I'm gaining a pound to two pounds a week...

metformin, high dose antioxidants+b-vitamins (helps me, personally), taurine...

get to a doctor for blood work. fish oil, that Rx fish oil (triglycerides). if appropriate, something stimulating for mood+appetite control (wellbutrin, contrave, ranging up to the old school stimulants, per the prescriber's decisions...), alpha lipoic acid...

periodic juice fasting....a new psychiatrist, maybe?

quick thoughts, off the top of my head. I hope things get better for you. :-)
