I have tried and first and I have noticed the restless leg syndrome to which I started taking iron supplements, but then I have noticed irregular heartbeat and pangs of pain in my heart. That did it! Both side effects are documented on the internet.
My pdoc also gave me Abilify so I am off to try that.... __________________ Cyclothiamia - on Depakote with occasional Thorazine for severe insomnia. |

Good luck with the Abilify. I was on it for a very short time... not long enough to know if it would have done me any good. It made everything I ate taste metallic. So I stopped taking it.

Abilify is taken with Lithium is a bit different than taken alone. Both Seroquel and Abilify are known as cocktail drugs taken with lithium for manic episodes. So far there is no side effect but I am only taking 2 mg. Tomorrow I will double up. It is all for insomnia.
P.S. Interestingly my lithium level is only 4 (low) despite the 900 mg daily dose. 6 would be the lower threshold. __________________ Cyclothiamia - on Depakote with occasional Thorazine for severe insomnia. Last edited by TimTheEnchanter; Jun 03, 2019 at 11:46 PM.. |
