Does anyone know if the duration of side effects is dependent upon the amount of the dosage of the medicine. For example, if someone is taking 25mg and another person is taking 50mg of the same medicine, assuming they happen to have the same side effects, will the side effects of the person taking 25mg completely stop sooner than the person taking 50mg?

It depends on the individual, some people can tolerate higher doses than some and also everyone reacts differently to meds

I agree.

But generally speaking, if someone gets a side effect at a certain dose, sometimes reducing that dose will make the side effect go away. Side effects don't always go away on their own, though, and they should be monitored. Sometimes certain meds are prescribed to negate the bad effects of another, and that is one option you can explore if you're struggling with one or more side effects and don't want to go off the med entirely.

i only had one med that i can say the mg given effected me greatly. it was latuda on 20 mg i was fine on 40mg i got explosive projectile vomiting. So as you might guess i don't take Latuda anymore.
But some typical AP meds can cause slurring speech and drooling as well as shuffling your feet i had that with Thorazine and later with a high dose of Clozeril. my take on clozeril is that it didn't work for me and i was even worse with it than without it.
