Default Hey everyone! Coming off valuim and need some support.

I'm going from 2 mgs to 1 mg of diazepam Thursday. I'm worried I will have really bad anxiety and my psych nurse is going on vacation and I'm worried that her replacement won't help me out. I just need some support. Thanks!

Are you going off of it all together or just lowering it?

I'm coming off of Clonazepam myself was on 2.5mg for many years. I'm down to 1mg daily. Tomorrow I'm gonna be tapering down to .75mg for a month. My withdrawal syndrome with this drug is horrible.

I'm doing a slow withdrawal from Clonazepam, with a cross taper to Valium. I'm down form 3.5 mg of clonazepam to 2 mg.

You might want to check out benzobuddies.org

It's a great site with lots of advice and support for getting off benzos.

Hey everyone! Coming off valuim and need some support.

As some of you may know, my blog is currently off-line due to some problems at my previous site host. I'm working with my web master to rebuild and get back on-line.

Why are your guys doctors taking you off it? Are they forcing you off it? Iím on Xanax and I need it at least once a day but sometimes two and I donít want him to take me off it.

Been on it for a decade. Taking a successful SSRI now. Also you should look into the long term physical effects that occur with benzodiazipine use.

Oh yeah, I'm a member lol. But sometimes it triggers me and I'm like this next cut is gonna be awful. But my psych nurse is adamant I do it this way.

Yes my psych nurse who is very educated about meds is essentially forcing me off as well as all her clients. She says they can cause dementia in the older years....
