I am new to Zoloft and found there are over 530+ drug interactions when researching it online. So far its at a low dose at the moment, 25 and that is because you have to get used to it.
Wondering if anyone is taking it and any stories they would like to share about their experiences with it . __________________ current meds: -Oxcarbazepine -Gabapentin -Hydroxyzine -Risperidone -Zoloft Psychotherapy 2-3 times a month as needed Bipolar 1, PTSD |

I took 150mg for awhile when I was a teenager and it helped, but I got off it eventually then as an adult I took it and it triggered a manic/psychotic episode. However, at the time I wasn't on a moodstabilizer and antipsychotic though with it

For me it was the devil's drug. It pushed me into a major manic episode. SSRI's and I don't react well.

Thank you all for the replies and your stories.
I read all the reviews at Drugs.com and a bunch of other places. I think that it's working for me so far, but I've only been on it a little while and haven't crossed that place where it really takes hold yet. I do feel different and more alert and focused on stuff in general. I can tell that I am taking it. __________________ current meds: -Oxcarbazepine -Gabapentin -Hydroxyzine -Risperidone -Zoloft Psychotherapy 2-3 times a month as needed Bipolar 1, PTSD |

I was 'maxed out' on it, like 300mg (I think). and it didn't do anything for me, good or bad. but that was over ten years ago, so things might be different now.
good luck to you |
