I am new to Zoloft and found there are over 530+ drug interactions when researching it online. So far its at a low dose at the moment, 25 and that is because you have to get used to it.

Wondering if anyone is taking it and any stories they would like to share about their experiences with it
.

I took 150mg for awhile when I was a teenager and it helped, but I got off it eventually then as an adult I took it and it triggered a manic/psychotic episode. However, at the time I wasn't on a moodstabilizer and antipsychotic though with it

For me it was the devil's drug. It pushed me into a major manic episode. SSRI's and I don't react well.

I am on it and asked my Pdoc to keep the dose low (I only take 25 mg a day). It does help me. I am less impulsive/more rational on it and sleep better (the better sleep comes after I have been taking it as prescribed for a while). I saw that you should not take it at the same time you take NSAID pain relievers but I noticed the increased sleep enables me to take less NSAIDs/helps me with pain. The down sides for me is that is causes gas and makes it harder to orgasm. I was only taking it every other day for a long time (my PDoc knew), and sex was better but I paid for it because my anxiety and insomnia have been a problem for about 3 weeks. I am taking it everyday again. It can take a while to see the results kick in. Good sex or good sleep? That does pose a dilemma for me sometimes.

Thank you all for the replies and your stories.

I read all the reviews at Drugs.com and a bunch of other places. I think that it's working for me so far, but I've only been on it a little while and haven't crossed that place where it really takes hold yet. I do feel different and more alert and focused on stuff in general. I can tell that I am taking it.

I was 'maxed out' on it, like 300mg (I think). and it didn't do anything for me, good or bad. but that was over ten years ago, so things might be different now.

good luck to you
