Anyone else on this?
I've tried to do a search on the forums, but find very little information. What dosages are you on, and what do you take it for? I am on it, supposedly for anxiety. Which I think it seems to be helping. Only 50mg Did you put on a lot of weight? __________________ "I'd rather attempt to do something great and fail than to attempt to do nothing and succeed. the low doses are supposed to help some forms of low mood, anxiety. higher than that can apparently help low mood and negative symptoms in chronic schizophrenia. higher than that...its an effective tranquilizer in psychosis.

I take my 50mg every morning.
My depression can be a bit psychotic, because I get myself into such a delusion of negative thinking, which is maybe why it was prescribed. I get myself into such a knot and want to run away from myself. I work myself up into tears and it feels like my heart is racing, although the machine doesn't show this. I then land up feeling chronically alone. I guess that psychosis? My depression and anxiety is out of hand, and I believe the amisulpride has helped. However it seems a very under-utilised drug, and I don't know anyone else on it... __________________ "I'd rather attempt to do something great and fail than to attempt to do nothing and succeed. I looked up the medication; it sounds like it has the potential to be a helpful one. One of the listed symptoms it is said to treat is dysthymia. Odd that it isn't used more commonly.

I must say, it seems to sound like it is very useful. And in my experience, it has helped me a lot with my anxiety.
But it seems there really aren't many people taking it. Maybe it is not available in USA? I was prescribed it while I was in South Africa, and the doctors in the UK seem to know about it too __________________ "I'd rather attempt to do something great and fail than to attempt to do nothing and succeed. i dont think its an fda-approved option, here in the usa. maybe this is the one i read about a us drug company wanting to bring to market, in a slightly modified form? i dunno. i think its an interesting drug, no doubt...the way it has been studied and shown to exert such different effects, at different doses...in very different people/patient groups..

I just checked it’s not FDA approved in the USA.
