In the hospital, they gave me 10 mg of Lorazepam in 24 hours (divided into four 2.5 mg tablets, every 4 hours). An additional, they gave me 20 mg (in 10 mg twice, every 10 hours).
Now, I haven't the slightest memory of this time and the following days and I wanted to know what kind of problems I could have with my brain today, because of this. I had never taken any medication before this and I'm also relatively slim (59 kg at 170 cm). It seems me that I have problems with my memory and permanently depressive minds since this event.

Thanks in advance!

That is a ton of lorazepam. I have to say, I mean, why would they have given you that much? Really, I mean, I once took 1 mg three times a day and I thought that was a lot and I weigh a lot more than you.

If they really gave you that much lorazepam, it's probable that you likely would have trouble remembering those times. I remember a few times when I took too much clonazepam (a similar drug) and I had no memory of what happened.

I don't know about long-term damage. I think it'd be best to seek a medical opinion about this from a qualified professional.

I doubt it will cause any long term damage if your not on a benzo regularly then it will cause memory loss.
It will work it’s way out of your system just fine

Yeah that's probably true. I just reacted that it was a ton of lorazepam. I guess that if you're fine with it (OP) just let it go; it likely didn't cause any long-term damage.

short term use of benzodiazapines will not cause damage like long term use may. your fine. the memory loss is a common side effect at high doses.
