has anybody here quit invega 3mg cold turkey? did you feel depressed/suicidal afterwards? for how long?

There is no telling which way you'll swing—up or down—if you swing at all.

Personally, I think if you're going to stop a med, you should do so under the guidance of your psychiatrist. I personally have had BAD luck when going off an antipsychotic cold turkey, and I've done it at least 5 times with various ones. Paranoia, psychosis, depression, mania... the whole shebang. I never knew what I'd get when going cold turkey, but it was at least 1 of those 4 things.

But if you're taking the med purely for depression, you still risk getting depressed.

I do understand stopping it, though, if you're getting side effects like TD, RLS, or akathisia, as some of those things can be permanent. But still, have your psychiatrist help you to mitigate the risk of getting unwanted withdrawal symptoms. For some people, withdrawal (e.g., depression) can last months at a time.
