I've gone through a handful of meds with little to no success, and it was exhausting. The doc I saw most often was literally going through a list of most common meds for bipolar - but I think I feel really good on my current meds.
Right now, I take 50 mg zoloft + 200 mg lamictal a day, with vitamin d and b12.

I feel more balanced, and am generally in a much better mood. I wake up some mornings and jam out in my shower - something that only used to happen when I was hypomanic. I'm easily irritated and have a terrible time concentrating most of the time, but I'll take those struggles over suicidal ideation and dissociation.
I still have anxiety, but I think it's lessened. I wanted back on prozac, but my primary doc suggested trying zoloft first just to see if it works any better with my anxiety. I think it does! I'm just really content on these meds, and I never thought I'd be able to say that. I could almost cry thinking about how different I feel. I feel so normal sometimes

Just wanted to put something a little positive here. I found what works for me right now after trying five other meds and a few therapists that didn't work out. I saw four different doctors who all put me on different meds or told me to "man up" and grow out of mental illness. I'm still trying to get in with a new therapist and psychiatrist.
But it's a little easier now.

I hope everyone who reads this finds what works for them!
