I wanted to know if there is a more effective medication than Clauzepine when all the other meds like ceroquel and olanzepine have been ineffective?
Thank you. |

There are many first generation and second generation antipsychotics that can be quite effective in treating psychosis. Sometimes in illnesses such as treatment resistant schizophrenia clozapine is the only solution. However, there are many antipsychotic options to try first. Talk to your psychiatrist.

There are many meds to try first but if nothing works clozapine is quite effective. I've been on it 4 years now and it works like nothing ever came near to doing. I did go through a lot of APs before trying it.

I admit it clears your thinking a lot but the side effects especially life threatening side effects are strong. We need something similar with less side effects.
