Does anyone have any experience with buspar? I started it for my anxiety about a week ago, and don’t notice a difference yet.

Dear Jayne13,

I hope that the Buspar will be helpful to you. I cannot speak for others, but I feel that it helps me with my anxiety and panic attacks. I wish you only the best!

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen

Hello,

Be patient a little bit. As far as I know by reading about Buspar, it takes up to 4 weeksnto fully work. I was interested in this drug, but now trying other options. Only downside is that you've to take 3 times daily, otherwise it's a good options.

Take care

Buspar never helped me, but my daughter has severe anxiety; Buspar helps her well.

buspar!!!
buspar is only useful for low level anxiety and even then i never notice a difference. I have taken it for over a year and feel nothing although i don't want to stop it either just in case its doing something.
Good Luck Jayne with it. I hope it does something to help you.
Warmest regards, Tams

Buspar saved me from incessant crying. The first day I took it, and a sub therapeutic dose, it stopped the intensity of the crying problem I had for many years.

They say it takes a month to work, but it worked instantly for me in this area. I’ve been on it a year now and at a therapeutic dose.

I’m not sure if it has worked for anxiety, but I’m thrilled about the crying now nearly gone.

I don’t know exactly what the crying is from, but anxiety med works.
