Do these meds cause hair to thin? Or is there another cause? I used to have super thick hair, now i hide bald spots as good as i can. I'm starting a suppliment to increase hair growth. It has good reviews. So I'm hopeful.

Some antipsychotics can cause hair loss. But as a first step have your Dr. check your Iron levels. My hair was thinning and it was really bugging me a few years ago, and I went in to get some tests. She checked my Ferretin (sp?) level and sure enough it was very low. I've been taking a daily supplement since then, and my hair has grown back.

It could be but thinning hair could also be caused by a thyroid issue or perhaps another medical issue. You should contact your doctor.
