Recently decided to restart Effexor/Venflaxine. My 'sweet spot' for years was 225mg XR daily. I'm kinda/sorta contemplating transitioning PDocs(looking for another at the moment), so after spending a week @75mg daily, I am now approaching a week @112.5mg daily. Is it feasible to continue increasing 37.5mg daily per week or is that too quick?

I see nobody answered your question. I'm also on Effexor, but as for now, just 1 week on it. Doc out me back on it because it improved my mood and social anxiety. As for first effects, it took 3-4 weeks but so much improved. From severe depression i improved till very mild depression. We upped the dose to 150mg,i felt after 2 weeks. I had more energy, means depression was slightly better. Maybe up your dose faster? You're going slow proccess of titrating, it may be frustrating.

But be cautios, i recommend following your pulse and blood pressure, its uncommon effexor increases it. I ended in ER and that's why I discontinued it, now i got beta blocker and things are much easier, doc put me back on it.

TY for your response signs!
I agree. Starting tomorrow, I will up it another 37.5 to 150mg, which is where I was at for a good portion of last year while I was weaning down from 300/225mg.
In hindsight, without any other productive alternatives appearing to help, I should have never began lowering below 150mg and then ultimately being off completely by January.
Good luck on your journey and keep me posted!
