So I'm on Pristiq 50 mg.
I've noticed recently that I've started having worse memory than normal. I already have a bad memory but it seems worse now. I've been on this medication a little over a month now. At the beginning of the medication, I didn't have worse memory. But now I noticed recently I do. Has anyone else experienced this while on this medication? I will let my psychiatrist know when I see them which is soon. |

I have been taking Pristiq for a year and a half. I find it very helpful. As for memory issues...I have them pretty badly. However, I had memory issues prior to taking Pristiq - although yes, they do seem a bit worse since starting Pristiq.

I honestly think some of these drugs can make our memories worse. I only took Pristiq for a brief period of time, though, so i can't speak about that drug in particular.

I saw my psychiatrist on Friday. He said that it wasn't a side effect when he searched the side effects on the internet. He said the memory issues might be due to my depression and anxiety being severe. It can cause the mind to not think clearly.
So he upped the medication to 100 mg. I'm still a bit worried though. Hopefully, the memory issues resolve. |

Have not been on Pristiq, but many others. I have clearly lost a lot of memory function over the years. No idea if due to meds or bipolar stuff or what. But short-term memory is awful now.
