On top of the social distancing stuff, my pdoc wanted to lower my meds. So I am having to deal with all that stuff in addition to the social distancing and general isolation. I am not sure if I need to have my Abilify raised back up to 30mg. I am on 15mg Abilify right now, and I'm feeling kind of depressed, honestly. I don't know if everyone just feels depressed right now or if it's just me. It's just kind of concerning because I don't ordinarily feel like this. And it's hard right now to sort out whether it's actual depression or just general malaise due to covid-19. I also take Remeron and Effexor.

You know, Wasting, Ijust reduced mine from 25 to 10 and I had all kinds of stuff happening. My psychosis got worse, got a little manic, and now, my depression is trying to return. So, yeah, in my experience, that kind of reduction can be a problem. Hope you can push through this.

Thanks. I have an appointment with pdoc on Friday. Hopefully he can help with this. I am just having a hard time sorting out what's normal anxiety and depression during these times and what's not. |

Don't throw in the towel yet. There are options. I know it is frustrating, I hve been there. OI have been on 54 meds in my career with this ilness and I know folks who have been on more.
Do you ever get outside? It casn really help, even just for a few minutes. __________________ When I was a kid, my parents moved a lot, but I always found them--Rodney Dangerfield |

Speaking of not going outside....you might want to add vitamin D because you’re not getting sun right now and Low D is linked to depression.....

Good points about getting outside. That is true. I haven't been getting outside as of late. I think I will start taking some vitamin D. Aside from that, hopefully my psychiatrist will have some ideas on Friday. Thanks.

Sometimes, even five or ten minutes out there can help me.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I also recently went off of Zyprexa at my pdoc's recommendation. I wish I could just take the Zyprexa again, if it would help.

I stopped taking Abilify cold-turkey, I lost 20lbs, --quickly followed by a depression. I would recommend taking it slow, don't follow my advice.
