Hey all,
I’ve been taking .5mg for the past 8 days because I’ve hit a rough patch. I’m planning on not taking anymore within the next few days. Is there possibility of having withdraws after around 2 weeks or use? |

The half life of this dose of xanax is relatively short-hours rather than days so you should not experience 'withdrawal' -----------------you may experience a resurgence of anxiety but this is very unlikely to be related to the xanax. It may help to initiate (if you haven') some activities that tend to reduce anxiety. (eg: regular physical exercise (even just dancing in the house to music you like), relaxation exercises/guided or other easily accessible online--- and just a routine. Are you on any other medications?

That's a small dose, so I think you'll be okay.

Everybody is different but I was able to go from 2mg a day down to .5mg with no issues whatsoever. I had been taking 2mg a day for three years

I feel safe in saying no, absolutely no problem after just 2 weeks.
