When do you take it roxyanne? Many take it at night. Also, it's only been two weeks and you see "some" improvement, yet it takes three to four weeks to level out more.

It can be very activating.

I take mine in the morning. I think I do notice it being a little harder to get to sleep but not enough to stop taking it. I take mine pretty early in the AM like 4 AM. But I also take ADHD meds and those are far worse at keeping me awake at night than the Cymbalta is.

Hmm, I take it at night and don't have any real trouble getting to sleep. Well, not usually but tonight is an exception; I ate dinner too late tonight.

Because it is an SNRI it can be very activating.

Since it is known to be activating take it in the morning.

I took Cymbalta for several years and initially had insomnia. I also took it at night, as recommended by my MD. However, it improved for me after months of taking it and using melatonin at night. It’s also important to note that the increase in energy is a goal of it. Good luck!
