Since we are going on about week 8 of me being sick they decided a couple of weeks ago to remove some of my psych meds. I am off Seroquel and lithium now. They cut my dose of clozapine in half and have kept lamictal and klonopin the same. Of course the depression is coming back. I need the higher dose of clozapine it is the only thing that has worked in years but they think that it the culprit to my illness but again it is just a guess.

Have you considered reaching out to your prescriber and tell them how you are feeling so hopefully they can try something to help you feel better.

Whare these symptoms that required the med changes. Ditching an AP and lithium at once is quite risky for good brain function.

Hugs!

That is a lot to deal with in one go. Just cutting one would be a struggle for anyone. Are you getting a replacement for the lithium? It is a salt and damages the liver so you would be better on a another mood stabiliser. I know from experience that too high of a dose of quetiapine can flatten a person's mood. At the the right dose it helps with mood and as an AP. It's about balance I guess. That's why I only needed quetiapine when I first began medication. What were the reasons for cutting three meds in one go?
