Hi, I take Adderall XR for my unipolar depression. I have been through so many meds from 2011-2019, it's ridiculous. But finally found something that worked for me in 2020, thanks to a new pysch, without him I am not sure i would have gotten well...

Regardless, I've been having some headaches the last month or so. The come and go, like around every 7-10 days I seem to get a round of light, very dull but persistent headaches. My guess is allergies but it's making me wonder about the Adderall. For anyone that takes this med and has headaches from it, do the headaches come and go like this? Or no? Do the headaches affect you in the sinus areas as well? Like around your eye sockets? And on the forehead? Nothing in the back of my head. I don't know, maybe it's just allergies but I figured I'd ask just in case.

The pollen forecast shows nothing bad but I don't think that even matters, who knows what the allergy could be!

I take adderall xr and I have allergies. Very rarely I will get a blood pressure headache if my doses are spaced too close together.

I am on 20 of the XR. I do get a scratchy throat and nose thing from it and Provigil. Rare headaches. What does your bp run usually?

Hi all! Thanks for your replies, I really do appreciate it as it pretty much confirms that it's not the Adderall and it is indeed allergies. I think I was just being extra cautious. But, after 4 days of Flonase and Claritin and staying inside the headaches completely went away, almost immediately.. It's definitely the allergies in other words. Thanks again! ♥

@bpcyclist, I don't get a sore throat but it makes me hoarse but that's it. I can't remember my exact BP but I think it's in good range (below 120). My pulse does run high on this but that should be normal, right? Pulse is high, around 107, I think but not 100%, will have to check later!
