I saw that! Wish they'd also discussed the impact on childhood sort of trauma though (the book by van der Kolk that I'm reading for instance suggests that it differs from trauma experienced in adulthood in terms of responses to treatment etc).
But, figure the research is going in that direction.

The study does not include the poor, Medicare/Medicaid client. These populations include our senior and disabled. The poor are routinely shunted to poorly staffed,
high staff turnover, inadequate county mental health systems- if they are accepted as clients at all. That is where real discrimination exists.

I would note that the study is limited to those who specifically sought (much coveted) evening appointments in NYC - that's not mentioned in the CNN article and not stressed in the Atlantic article - but it may have a bearing on the results.
