I keep thinking I am not a picky eater, but these couch food discussions are making me realize I may be a little more particular about my food than I realize.
I usually only eat cheese sandwiches when I have really good bread that I baked or got from a good bakery and really good cheese. I have to share cheese when I buy it or it goes bad. I also like cheese on raisin bread or cranberry bread (the yeast kind -not the quick bread) but I don't put mustard on those.

You know what i dont understand is they have all these video umpires where you can see the action from evry angle but its still the on pitch umpire who has the final say from a limited viewpoint. Why have video umpires at all

It is supposed to rain 2-3 inches here over the 2 days along with today. I walked the dogs 3 miles this morning but they are getting restless and they hate getting wet. I have tried walking them in the rain before, but they try to glom under my rain coat which makes for an unhappy walk for all

They have a weird system (at least in some tests) where they get so many appeals to the video umpire which give the video umpire authority to overrule. If the field umpire is overturned the team can have more appeals but if not(twice) they lose their right to appeal.

I think there shouldn't be video appeals at all. Human error is part of the game.

Right now is when t would normally be opening her door for me. It's my first post-therapy Thursday. I think that's why I waited until today to email her about the grad school stuff I learned. I feel good though, happy, still settled in the knowledge that we did the right thing last week.

It's a number-that-must-not-be-named of identical good things happening in a row. The cricket example has already been mentioned, but it also applies to goals in soccer, tries in rugby, etc.

Hat trick in the us has to do with hockey where I have heard it - the scoring of three goals in a game by one player.
