Does anyone else experience this?
Things keep changing shape.
Maybe I've been away from therapy too long. Had a bit of an email meltdown with T in to of this.
I feel like I'm living inside a van gogh painting.

Unfortunately, like Van Gogh's work, things that change shape are often overlooked until they are defined. Im sorry that you are struggling right now, things will get clear in time

I'm very sorry, but if you physically see that objects around you change shapes it might be a good idea to visit your Dr or emergency. I hope you'll get the help you deserve.

I'm not sure I'm following you on things changing shape. Things being physical objects, thoughts, feelings, internal world, "just something" like shadows/fog in the mind - something just out of grasp or sand through fingers... ???

I've had all of the above at different times -- with physical shapes though, it's more like on the edges of my vision, if I turn and look directly at the object, it will look appropriate. In my memory later, it might be distorted in terms of size or some other characteristic.

I agree. I think seeing objects physically changing shape is call hallucinations and yes, you want to ask your Dr or emergency how to cope and what might be the cause of your hallucinations. Seeing a DR or emergency is most likely what a therapist will recommend, but is your choice. If you are speaking metaphorically, I think it is healthy to question and explore your beliefs and become more confident in yourself and what you are seeing.

As others have said, if you are speaking literally, what you are experiencing is a visual hallucination. Are you under a lot of stress right now?
