Default Accidents in therapy? Embarrassing

Hello all- I recently wet my pants during therapy without even realizing it until it happened. Very embarrassing. Was wondering if anybody else had similar experiences with soiling, wetting, vomitting,. etc? to cheer me up?

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum ! I've probably coughed and passed wind a few times , embarrassing things happen , but they do happen. I do recall someone here saying they vomited into their therapist's wastepaper basket , so I hope that will cheer you up !

I would have never returned if so. You are brave for not walking out and quitting

I'm so sorry that happened. Is it related to being diabetic? I'm sure therapists deal with this stuff somewhat regularly, and your T probably understands your medical issues.

I'm sorry that happened to you. Diabetes sucks!
A couple of times I have been afraid to move, for fear that I will fart. I suck in my gut, hold my butt-cheeks together, and try my hardest not to waddle out the door.

It occurs to me that the anu$ is the smartest muscle in the body. It has to express gas while retaining liquid and solid, it has to know whether your pants are up or down, and it has to know whether you are alone or with company. It is one smart muscle!

There, feel better now?

Haha I sometimes have to really struggle not to fart in front of people in general! I had a period of a few years when my farts bothered me LOL
I don't know why but the issue has recently disappeared on its own

My mother has diabetes and she is frequently running off to the bathroom. As a medical student still in training, I've also seen this with a few patients.Sometimes it's not possible to control your body.

I'm sure your T understands.
