List the ones you have seen or know of.

I have seen season 1 of "In Treatment' and I've heard of "Side Effects" but haven't seen it.

To the Bone- a movie about eating disorders
Not really about actual therapy, but do you remember Fraiser?
Right now I'm watching Atypical on Netflix. It's a sitcom however there are serious topics, too. It shows life of an intelligent teenage boy with Aspergers syndrome and the challenges he faces everyday. There are also family problems and how having a child on the spectrum affects marriage and siblings. But overall, it's not too deep and it can be watched after a day at work or just to relax. He goes to therapy and has a crush on his therapist (unsuccessfully )

There's some funny stuff in Netflix's Sex Education, especially the 16 year old boy who "pretends" to be a sex therapist for kids and the mom (Gillian Anderson oohh la lah) is just spectacular as a sex therapist for grownups. If you've ever wondered about how a therapist might "relate" to their kids, this is for you.

And the scenery-- I want to live there. Shot in Wales.

There's a British channel 5 documentary show called "In Therapy" with therapist Mandy Saligari. Which films real people who have agreed. You can watch a few episodes on youtube.

YOU on netflix had a few scenes, but it's a storyline that could be triggering.

I liked the movie with Uma thurman called Prime, where she's dating her T's son without knowing.

A Dangerous Method, with Michael Fassbender & Keira Knightley. The early days of Jung and Freud's relationship and the breakdown of it, when he starts a relationship with a patient .

Gypsy on netflix is pure rubbish, and not worth the time investment but I watched it to the end.

Ridiculous question- but does Sex Education have a lot of sexual content and references? Really tempted to watch but just wondering how triggering it might be.

Well references yes... it's basically about a young man who becomes a "Sex therapist" for his classmates... so there is different sex related issues that come up every episode

There is quite a few sex scenes as well, some fairly graphic since netflix can get away with it more.... but it's not like a porno type thing, I was thinking tons of sex, based on the name but not really, maybe one or two scenes an episode.

I've heard it's fantastic and I'd love to see it but right now it's a huge trigger for me, it very much reminds me of T... I can't even watch the trailer on tv
