I’m very worried that my T is angry at me for emailing him about the medication
withdrawals. I thought that was something that he should know about. It now 12:32 and the office hasn’t called me yet and I don’t want to call them.

Is your T the person who prescribed the medication? If not, the person to email would be the prescriber.

But I doubt he'd be mad about you emailing him about medication withdrawals.

How many times have you emailed your Pdoc in the last 7 days?

I hadn’t sent any emails during the week. But who was I supposed to call about the medicine withdrawals?

This is not about the email issue but whether medication problems are okay to ask about.

Call the office.
Did you make the police report? Then, your Pdoc can refill your missing meds.

I found the other ones.

The medicine that I’m referring to now is one that I get through the patient assistance for free since there’s no generic.

Thanks LT. I’ve just gotten so scared to email at all even with important things.

I don’t want to feel like a burden on him.

I’m already scared to go to my next appointment since the mobile crisis team had to come talk to me this past week. I’m very humiliated.

Serious medication issues are completely the reason to contact your pdoc. However, the withdrawal symptoms had an obvious cause so unless you were expecting the pdoc to get replacement meds to you because you lost them, there probably wasn't much else he could for you unless you were in such bad shape you needed to be hospitalized. Expect that he'll probably remind you that consistency in taking your medications is paramount. That you need to plan ahead and have refills ready to go about a week before you run out which would have prevented this issue.

Most pdocs don't consider needing refills a reason emergency. And withdrawals due to running out of meds they probably also don't consider an emergency because it is completely preventable unless the withdrawal is so severe it warrants ER or hospitalization.

Essentially, medication issues that truly are emergencies such serious side effects - (not ones you can ride out until office hours), allergic reactions (if serious should go to ER), etc. are worthy of phone or email contact (if they are truly serious you should be calling, not emailing generally). Minor medications issues such as bothersome side effects like drowsiness or nausea, refills, losing effectiveness, etc. should be saved for office hours.

Still, call, don’t email. Side effects can put you in the hospital, depending.
Someone needs to manage your withdrawals or refill your prescription.

Your pdoc, a medical doctor, doesn't have an answering service? That's rather odd.
