Most of you know that my T was diagnosed with cancer last year. Due to her having major surgery, she no longer has cancer. But her life has changed.
Last week we said goodbye to a friend from church, who also had cancer. Just found out that an old friend lost her mother last night, in Maryland. Although her mother (also my friend, since 1973) was ill, she was going in for cancer surgery in a few days, and but she was even at home resting up for it. This is shocking and very sad news for me. And, imagine, I had to awaken my wife with this news. The family isn't very big, but they have a ton of friends, mostly due to their mutual interest in the arts, education, etc. She had a heart of gold. Any hugs you can send would be great. Thanks--Cool __________________ In a world where you can be anything, be kind. ; |

This isn't to try and sound rude, by comparing dogs to people, but to me, dogs are more important than people and it's all I have for experience but yes, it does suck
Seeing my dog, battle 2 forms of it for almost 6 months and watching him fade away before my eyes was absolutely awful. I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone, human or animal I'm really sorry you had so many experiences with it and it's gotta be hard for you no doubt, sending big hugs to you __________________ Grief is the price you pay for love. |

I think one could talk to the therapist about how her cancer has been to your therapy.
Therapists tend to say they are willing to talk to clients about such things. __________________ Please NO @ Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live. (((Cool))) I've lost a lot of people and animals due to cancer. My Ella, Sheltie, died of heart cancer. We didn't even know until one day she stopped walking. Right now H's aunt has cancer. Beautiful lady, inside and out. She just had surgery and it was successful. Sad thing is that she has lung cancer yet she never smoked.
Sorry, didn't mean to make it about me. Just trying to empathize. I understand how hard it is and I'm sorry you're having to deal with it. __________________ "Odium became your opium..." ~Epica |
