Isn’t there an aurora australis?

I bought a new cutting board (my old one is wood and therefore might secrete gluten particles from bread I cut on it). Now I should deep-clean my kitchen for the same reason.

After four days of no or little gluten, I’ve lost my stomachache and there is an observable GI difference.

yep there certainly is but strangely it costs more to see it from Australia and it takes a few weeks to do it as you have to take a supply ship to Antartica i think

Thats fantastic!

I know if i want to make myself sick, all it takes is milk and a box of Grape-Nuts. Not puke-sick, but stomach-ache, body-aches, and head-fog. Then as soon as any discomfort clears (burp!), i want another bowl. Then im down again. Thats why Grape-Nuts comes in such small boxes - they know its power.

I would like more detail about the GI diff. Are we talking 💩?

Of course you’d be interested. Si, si. Color y firmeza.

I’m not translating that, it’s pretty obvious.

I’m also much less hungry than usual.

ATAT - glad it is working. For all the effort you are going through, at least you can see it helping.

I loved grapenuts mixed with plain greek yogurt and berries. But as I have been ridding my house of gluten (not celiac just gluten sensitivity) =grapenuts had to go.
It is amazing to me how even when I don't notice feeling better from not eating it - I immediately feel worse (with unpleasant side effects) when I do.

But good lord, don't encourage exhankster's unhealthy freudian fascination with the digestive tract.

Hey new couch! Today at work was rough. Why is there a drought in the morning and a monsoon in the afternoon? During the boring morning I would have loved some of those activities that came around 2 o'clock.

Ah well it's the weekend. Time for housework and a haircut and some cooking. Maybe a nap if I'm feeling rebellious.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Talked to L on the phone. It helped a lot. She reminded me to stop future tripping, and that we're not capable of dealing with days, weeks, months all at once. That we are capable of dealing with one day at a time. She also gave me reassurance that she's there and I can depend on her while T is on her leave.

Thank you BCM and Lemon for your support last night. That and talking to L helped me feel less alone

Gluten Free also has the added benefit of losing a few pounds while you are figuring the lifestyle out. (So I’ve heard)

My T has a couch in the waiting room that I LOVE, he has a couch in the office but he doesn’t use that part of his office much and it is stiff and formal... so we are in chairs... that move... a lot... but T has earned my trust so it only makes me so neurotic... and he will sit really close to me in the chairs in a way that would feel awkward on a couch.

H just left to go to his buddy's house to do their fantasy baseball league draft. Another quiet evening alone.... so needed this week, as work has been so busy. I'm going to go work on today's poem now, then go for another walk, then figure out something for dinner.....

Hi couch.

I've had a busy week, with some major highs and lows. Saw my favorite artist, P!NK, in concert on Monday for the first time ever. Got floor seats and went by myself. I had an amazing time.
I'll spare you the low of what came after. T offered to let me come in 5 days this week,
so I took him up on that. It's been nice outside this week, so I've taken the kids for icecream and to the park today. Trying to keep myself busy and distracted.

No couch in t’s office. My son’s t has a couch and it is super comfy. I think sitting on a super comfy couch with pillows you can hug definitely gives a different feel to therapy. I wonder if t’s make a conscious decision between couch or chair?
