I’m getting ready to do another initial phone call in a few minutes. This is what it’s going to be like everyday until I secure a position. Phone call after phone call after phone call. Meeting after meeting after meeting. I usually end up talking to 30 families or so when looking for a new one.

wondering now why i wanted to stay in this relationship with h. my appointment with the surgeon is this morning and he suddenly has a terrible cold and is moaning and groaning and holding his head and doing this extremely forced, fake-sounding cough to exemplify how he obviously feels worse than i possibly could. i told him to just go back to bed and i'll deal with this myself. inwardly crying. i don't understand him at all i just don't. i feel miserable.

And I just got a call from t’s office canceling my appointment for today. An hour before my appointment. Apparently he is sick. Having a hard time trusting t right now.

The fact that office called and he didn’t text to cancel is suspiciously and... the fact that they can get me in tomorrow instead is really suspicious because t is never that open that anybody can get in the next day.

And I guess the fact that I am suspicious of t canceling really puts into perspective where or relationship is at this time. I wonder if this can be salvaged at this point.
