I've been doing a lot of therapy-type thinking and workings-out on my walks. That's a big part of not needing L so much anymore. Also this whole thing with h has changed our relationship in a good way. While I did not speak lies to him, neither did I speak the truth, and that served as an emotional wall between us, which not realizing I had basically constructed it, left me fearful of sharing anything with him so when I should have shared something, instead I would just cry, he would get frustrated, I would cry more in a vicious circle and I continued to get the emotional intimacy that I needed from my relationship with L. She led me to the path of this realization when during our last session in February she asked me if I could take our relationship into my other relationships. At the time I said I do not know. But I have begun to do just that so I don't feel like I need to get that from her anymore either. Thanks for reading if anyone got through all of that. I needed to share for some reason.

That's a break through there.I'm glad you could break down that wall with H and your relationship is much better. You've come a long way and it's lovely to read. No. My sparkles are virtual

I toss virtual sparkles of various types (caffeinated, positivity, joy-filled, eye-avoiding, gluten-free, non-gmo, etc) over my coworkers in our team chat at least once a day, they love it. Our team is spread out over several states, and most of us work from home besides, so many of us have never even met in person.

I would have thought sparkles were bigger than glitter.

Don’t know about sparkles, but new cat loves to shred her tinsel balls and scatter tinsel all over. It gets everywhere, even between the floorboards. I can never get rid of it.

I still have tinsel up around my room around my WW2 we can do it poster my hall wall and on my bookshelf .

Trying not to eat my feelings today. Not having anywhere to go with them is kind of rough. I don't think I'm going to be able to lie when she asks how I am doing.

I lurved that one too, I would be happy to get anything in the post.but it might be cheaper just to do it on your own but more anonymous with them. When my aunt was playing whilstle blower she sent her manger's boss one of those recorded letters, but traveled to another postal area, so it wouldn't have the her area code stamped by the post office .

I am hoping to hear from her on Tuesday, to set something up for Thursday...but I'm not sure whether I'm being idealistic. Last week she was unwell, and this week was a scheduled break. (That I said I was OK with, being me...realising and yet not realising the timing.)

Therapy breaks are hard. If she's supposed to come back anyway this week, I don't see why you can't email her first to schedule your session sooner if you need to.

My BF is real sweet and wants to be helpful but I can’t think of anything he could do to make this any better

When y’all feel bad, is there anything an SO or friend does that helps?

I'm sorry you're not well.

Food is the main thing that comes to my mind especially when you don't have the energy to cook for yourself. But just eating regularly does help.
