Now we have the task of finding a rental...oye. That's not going to be fun because we have no income and bad credit. But, but, but we'll have money! lol

Today was an absolute non-work, workday. Meaning, I was at work, and I was doing things like filing, and putting in payables, but for the most part, I didn't have any work to do. I did an extraordinary amount of reading online. Sometimes I feel bad about collecting my paycheck because there isn't enough work for me to do. Then I think about the person that worked here before me, making $14 more an hour than me and I think, wow....

Good lord, I wish Amazon was not doing their own deliveries.
They keep delivering my packages to my neighbors, and then I have to go find them based on the pictures taken of them on various doormats.

Okay, maybe the sleeves are a little overmuch...

Or is this something @@'s Info would wear?
A dog might look cute in that.

Oh, but when one of the doormats goes on a crime spree you’ll be able to pick it out of a lineup and win the big reward.

For now I get the consolation prize of my packages, pre-opened by my neighbor's son.

Do you have amazon lockers in your area? I use them now because my area has a lot of porch pirates and I had some dog treats stolen. And the amazon delivery people were awful around here

We've done OK with the Amazon delivery people, but Lasership is a mess (they're here less now that Amazon has their own delivery people). They'd mark a package as delivered, then it would show up 2 days later, if at all. Or they'd pound on the door at 10:30 p.m. delivering a package--that doesn't freak me out at all!

OK, my T is awesome. (I know, he has his issues, but other than that...). Because my insurance changed how much they're willing to reimburse me, he's agreeing to reducing his fee for me. I initially said just for a few months twice a week, then I could switch to once a week and pay his full fee. But he said that I was under no obligation to switch until I felt emotionally and mentally ready.

Thanks, Art! I was getting pretty nervous about it because I sent the email this morning (and I know he was working today because he'd initially offered me a session when I was trying to schedule around D's spring break plans) and hadn't heard back. So was afraid he was bothered by my request. But then he replied a bit ago.

Isnt that called, "going to the freakin store"?! As in taking a shower, getting dressed, walking to the bus stop, getting on the bus, walking to the locker, putting the crap in a cart, carting it back to the bus stop, getting back on the bus, and carting the crap back home? In the snow? Or 90 degree heat? Uphill 5 miles both ways?

Just put the stuff on my lawn.

It's spring!

Scholarship selection season. I really enjoy the kinds of selection I got to do today. Instead of only academic merit, which means I'm trying to choose between a bajillion 4.0 students who all do theater and sports and are president of everything (although those are fun to read too--wow!), it was some smaller selections from a pool of mostly Bish students, with criteria based on school and community involvement and goals and perseverance and the like. There are some amazing students out there who may not stand out academically but work hard to achieve their goals and are passionate about caring for family and community, or animals, or advocacy, wanting to make the world a better place.

I worry that the planet we're turning over to them is pretty wrecked, but they give me such hope for the future.
