That is a pretty awesome trip and very kind of your brother- It's good to get away for a bit.

Are you planning anything for yourself too this year?

I hope her trip goes well, but is pet insurance an option?

We pay something each month and everything is covered- which was good when Belle was attacked by a fox.

Everything that can go wrong seems to be going wrong. H went to the house so that he can get more stuff and to let 1800-got-junk come in. The new owner changed the locks! We had until tomorrow to get our stuff! I have valuables in the house: H's wedding ring, snow globes, our birth certificates and social security cards, my 2 dog's ashes, etc. It pisses me off!

I'm not sure how it works but aren't they in breech of a contract or something if you had an agreed time? Can you contact the Estate agent or solicitor?

You lied to me! We defiantly had a conversation about me visiting you and it was Canada, not Michigan- because I said my uncle lived there too.

What else is a lie?!

Yep, I sure am, end of September going to Missouri for my yearly sister's weekend with a group of close friends (we used to work together years ago and have stayed in touch). Its usually in July but summer didn't work out this year.

I was just out for a stroll in my building's ground floor garden (the Japanese restaurant on the first floor maintains it). My apartment faces out onto the garden. I looked up, and I could instantly tell which windows were mind...because one proudly displayed cat spit-up.

I have many relatives in canada. I think i was concerned that you were not aware of how large a continent the canadian transcontinental railway traversed. Member we said england was as big as michigan? So if you cross the atlantic, thats kinda like going from one side of canada to the other. I have relatives on both sides. Dang i have a lot of relatives. Those darn catholics! Not to mention, those darn olden times.

I bought some hi protein low carb cheezy poofs - they are pretty good and pretty filling! Nice and crunchy. I have been on a crunchy kick lately.

Smart kitty. You won't get lost that way, which means you will be home in time to feed the cat.

I am about to have a bread machine adventure. I am trying to convert my great-grandmother's bread recipe to 1-loaf proportions and make it in the bread machine. It doesn't help it was set to make 7 loaves, which is rather hard to do fractions and conversions for (at least for me).

Damn the conversions, full speed ahead!

On wives not bringing their husbands ice cream quick enough: Oh. Hell. No. Get that crap yourself.

On Sons being lectured by their father on money. Tune it out. He’s grown and out of the house. What he does with his money is no longer anyone’s business but his, unless he is receiving money from the source that’s doing the lecturing.

On kids hollering they want stuff right that second. Again. Oh hell no. On the spectrum or not. Boundaries. The ice cream would get thrown out. Or whatever they are hollering for in that moment (if it’s not life or death)

On cat puke: I think SD said it will eventually go away. That’s correct.

On Crunchy high protein snacks: Love those

On Background checks: Haven’t heard anything yet, but now it’s Memorial Day weekend and people have lives sooo..I guess this is a dead issue till I meet them
Tuesday (or not pending the check)

I know I’ve read more. But I’m cleaning and took a quick break. Be back. Hugs, tip of the hat, whatever your preference.
