It went allot better then expected and way longer then expected. Im glad i pushed myself to keep my file open at the mental health clinic. We got most of my history down and assesment. She works allot with trauma so for me it will be helpful to talk to someone who is understanding. She is booked up til June 19th and then we will meet every 2 to 3 weeks, also with me going to day program and all. She took the time to get a idea where things are at with me regarding my emotional health. Also she is able to take calls in between sessions during clinic hours.

Im surprised how open i was, then again i have been preparing myself for a long time for a new therapist. I am also glad i can start over with someone in the clinic with no problems from the previous therapist how he did things will cross over.

Thank you, im glad i gave the therapist a chance and did not let my previous experience at the clinic get to me. I did mention it to her how it is all confusing to me still, but i think i can over look and focus on what brought me into therapy.

I am so happy for you that you were such a good advocate for yourself and your needs. Glad it was a good session and you have a schedule for sessions. I hope it all works out for you.

I am more then ready to go to places in my life that keep me from enjoying my life. Next Monday will be 18 months of being sober from alcohol. I numb allot of the emotional pain down. I did not know at the time but soberity has brought me to relize therapy before was not effective. I sabbatoged myself allot no one to blame but myself. I need to get out feeling like im in a crisis all the time and im very glad i get to start fresh. The hard work paid off allot to advocate to stay at the clinic.
