I am in the midst of a 5 week therapy break. I have been doing pretty well but a medical emergency of someone close to me triggered an intense desire to talk to my T and get a little reassurance. I emailed asking for a phone call and then instantly pulled back. I regret it and want to run away so bad. Ugh. Attachment to someone who only cares when getting paid to is stupid. T hasn't replied but I am probably going to just email an apology and rescind my request because it was a stupid idea.... also I am really not in a great place at the moment...

I understand. I feel like that too that therapists only care because they are getting paid. Im sorry about your family member.
