Hi, everyone. I haven't posted here in a while, but now I'm back.
I've been working through some things with T, including my feelings of maternal transference I feel towards her. They have decreased a little, I can feel it. I don't feel so anxious anymore before sessions, which is good. But, over the past couple of months, I've been really struggling with school and I'm feeling overwhelmed, and I usually take it out on people close to me, such as my parents and friends. I've noticed my reactions to the smallest things have been aggressive, and I was talking about this with T today while having a full meltdown and she recommended I seek a psychiatrist to prescribe something to help me with my anger management. What are your experiences with such meds? Do they really help, or will they make me numb? |

I believe my medication helps; though I do have side effects. I take Wellbutrin and it helps significantly with my rumination tendencies. The flip side is I feel like I don't make memories very easily so school work when I was in school or when I need to study something for my job is more difficult.
