Hi everyone, in just and hour i see the new therapist for the second time. I have my journal and my goals i want to work on with her. I am so nervous again, i truly hope this will work out for me and that i can trust her. Some of my issues are difficult because it's mostly sexual abuse so it's very scary to me but im finding it harder to keep it all inside. Can i have some pocket riders please thank you

Thank you, the session went very well. She is very good so far and whats even better for me is she comes from a holistic point of veiw and a whole different approach to dealing with trauma. First she wants me to journal things that make me smile and help me feel good every day. She wants to help me feel good and have good self care so when i do start to go through the trauma at a deeper place i wont fall apart. She seems like someone that cares about her clients. Because she is so busy she booked me in 3 weeks apart into August and will re book me in.

I am so glad your session went well. I know how difficult it is talking about sexual abuse as that is the horrible situation I had to endure. I am glad it seems like you have a caring and understanding therapist who seems like they are going to help you out.
