Does your therapist have online reviews? Mine only had the one when I started and it was relatively positive. Since then, however, there have been 2 more reviews which are very negative. I really like my T. I don't idolize him and do know he has faults but overall think he is a really good T. The negative comments took me by surprise. I mean I know not everyone is going to like him or get on with him but they are pretty strongly worded. Just wondering others experiences?

My previous marriage therapist had a few online reviews, and a few were negative. I didn't read too much into them because I liked our T at the time and I know one size doesn't fit all for therapists. What one person likes in a therapist may not work for another.

My T has one that is positive but very blah, generic.
Pdoc has several two positive ones from before I started working with her and then four or five really negative ones. I was warned by the T that referred me to her (not my current T) that people either hated her or loved her but the T could never figure out why. Personally I adore her and could never work with another Pdoc as long as she is still working. I drive an hour and a half each way to a 15 min med check and still would not change Pdocs for anything. Current T cannot figure out what is so special about a Pdoc T, Pdoc and I all have a general dislike for Pdocs... so does Pdocs husband.

Neither T had reviews.

Psych NP has a few a couple of very negative ones. One of 5hem she hung up in her. Seeing that I worked with her at my job as well as seeing her as a client. I highly suspect the client was likely hollering and using profanity. That review dud not sway me against seeing her. I use to drive 10 minutes to appointments a few years back she changed jobs. So I travel almost an hour....I al da o travel that far to see EMDR T.

My therapist doesn't have any reviews, which I find very odd. However, the places he's worked for have a lot of negative reviews. I assume that's why he doesn't work there anymore!
